Driver Hire Winchester is recruiting experienced Class 2 drivers for an excellent opportunity with a leading client in the waste industry. This is a great chance to join a dependable team, enjoy consistent full-time work, and secure a potential permanent position.
🚛 About the Role
You will be operating Skip and RoRo lorries, supporting essential waste operations across the region.
1. Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays
2. 12-week temp to perm opportunity
3. Working hours: 6:00am – 4:00pm (approx. 50-hour week)
4. Delivering, collecting and exchanging skips
5. Operating RoRo vehicles and tipping at designated sites
6. Completing daily vehicle checks
7. Ensuring all delivery paperwork, PODs and PDA systems are accurately updated
8. Working to scheduled delivery time slots
✔️ What We’re Looking For
9. Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
10. Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
11. Minimum 6–12 months driving experience
12. Skip and RoRo experience preferred (training provided if needed)
13. Chain experience beneficial
14. Reliable transport to and from work
15. Strong understanding of road safety and compliance procedures
