Overview
Mobile Installation Engineer / Technician (Automotive adaptations) role at OlympusWeb.com. We install and service a wide range of vehicle adaptations for people with disabilities or reduced mobility. The position involves installing products mobile at customer addresses and car dealerships, with occasional workshop installations.
Responsibilities
* Provide a professional installation service for all products.
* Deal with customers in a friendly, helpful and professional manner.
* Work to a weekly and daily schedule of work.
* Install products to a high standard, carrying out quality control inspections.
* Present product demonstrations to customers after each installation and ensure they know how the products work.
* Carry out relevant product training as required.
* Carry out weekly checks to ensure stock levels are correct and current.
* Carry out housekeeping duties and vehicle maintenance.
* Be a team player with the ability to work alone.
* Install products mobile at the customer's address and car dealerships, with occasional workshop installations as required.
Qualifications
* Ideally experienced in the installation of vehicle adaptations, or a vehicle technician/engineer with basic knowledge of auto electrics.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Versatile while maintaining high standards.
* Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Computer literate to send job reports and emails after each installation.
* Desire to contribute to the ongoing success of the Service and Installation Department.
* Willingness to undertake all required training, including auto electrical work, welding and fabrication.
* Valid Driving Licence.
Location & Hours
Location: Chesterfield, with travel if required. Hours: 40 hours per week (8:30am to 5:00pm). Travel requirements vary by assignment.

* Salary: Competitive, DOE + excellent benefits.
* Contract: Full-time, Permanent – Monday to Friday with occasional overtime when required.

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will join an energetic team and receive on-the-job training from day one, with a full training program for the right candidate, including a qualification to work on Electric Vehicles, Welding and fabrication works.
