* Primarily engaged with larger clients requiring complex financial reporting.
* Accountable for preparing management accounts and VAT returns, ensuring all reporting deadlines are consistently met.
* Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations to a standard suitable for year-end reporting.

* Play an active role in software implementation projects, including Xero migrations, user training/support, and process optimisation for other accounting systems.

* Participate in and contribute to regular departmental meetings.
* Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring all compliance and reporting deadlines are met.
* Delegate tasks to junior team members, providing appropriate oversight and reviewing their work for quality and accuracy.
* Offer support, coaching, and guidance to less experienced colleagues to aid their development.
* Proactively manage your own workload, communicating progress updates and flagging any concerns regarding deadlines, job budgets, or capacity issues in a timely manner.
* Keep the departmental work planner up to date with scheduled absences and potential workload conflicts.
* Provide constructive and timely feedback within the team to support continuous improvement.

* Have previous experience of Management Accounts preparation.
* Ideally, previous experience of Xero, Sage and other accounting software.
