This is an opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic radiographer to join a large nuclear medicine multidisciplinary team.
The department has 3 gamma cameras, PET/CT and BMD, and offers a wide-ranging therapeutic service. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to experience all aspects of our service.
Applicants with no nuclear medicine experience are encouraged to apply, as we will support you to gain experience and obtain a postgraduate qualification.
To be an effective member of the Nuclear Medicine Team, you should provide a high standard of service to patients and referrers and assist in the organization of the nuclear workload.
This role requires experience and expertise in Nuclear Medicine Techniques.

Key responsibilities include:
1. Providing a commitment to the highest quality of patient care at all times.
2. Maintaining professional communication with medical, nursing, technical, clerical, and ancillary staff.
3. Performing clinical duties in imaging, bone density, administration of therapeutic isotopes, in-vitro, and quantitative studies as delegated.
4. Assisting in the organization of the nuclear medicine workload.
5. Carrying out nuclear medicine procedures to the highest standards, adhering to departmental protocols and ensuring patient identification.
6. Proficiency in departmental equipment use and observing quality control protocols, reporting malfunctions promptly.
7. Adapting duties to new developments within nuclear medicine.
