Building Surveyor – Social Housing
The role will involve carrying out detailed property inspections, preparing schedules of work, providing accurate costings, and supporting contract delivery across a wide variety of retrofit projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake detailed surveys of occupied and void properties
* Prepare accurate specifications, schedules of work, and cost estimates
* Provide valuations in line with contract requirements
* Monitor works on-site to ensure compliance with specifications and KPIs
* Identify building defects, risks, and remedial actions
* Produce clear technical reports and maintain records on SharePoint
* Work closely with contract managers, operatives, and clients
* Act as a key contact for tenants and stakeholders on technical matters
About You
* Proven experience working in social housing
* Previous experience in surveying within housing, maintenance, or construction
* Knowledge of retrofit works and planned maintenance
* Full UK driving licence
