Part-Time Year 3 Teacher - Selly Oak, Birmingham Start Date: Tuesday 20th May 2025 Working Days: Tuesday and Wednesday Contract: Until July 2025 Monarch Education is working closely with a friendly and supportive primary school in Selly Oak, Birmingham, to recruit a Part-Time Year 3 Class Teacher. This is a temporary role, running until the end of the academic year, ideal for a committed and experienced KS2 teacher seeking part-time work in a welcoming school environment. About the Role: As the Year 3 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the needs of a mixed-ability class. While the majority of planning will be provided, you'll be expected to adapt and personalise content as necessary to support the progress and well-being of all pupils. Key Responsibilities: Delivering high-quality teaching in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2. Adapting provided lesson plans to suit the learning styles and abilities of individual pupils. Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, providing clear and constructive feedback. Managing classroom behaviour effectively, using the school's positive behaviour policy. Creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment that supports pupil development. Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to support learning and well-being. Contributing to school life by attending staff meetings, briefings, and CPD sessions if required. Maintaining accurate records of pupil progress and contributing to end-of-term reports. Person Specification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably with a Year 3 class. Strong classroom management skills and a nurturing approach to pupil development.
