Business Development Manager
Larbey Evans is seeking experienced individuals with at least several years’ experience in Business Development to join one of our prestigious US law firm clients as a Business Development Manager.
1. Salary up to 100,000 + exceptional employee benefits, including 30 days annual leave
2. 09:30-17:30 (Mon-Fri) and hybrid working (4 days office / 1 day remote)

Reporting into the European BD Director, the BD Manager will be tasked with heading up the London Finance, Business Restructuring, and Real Estate partners for London and Europe whilst collaborating with other sector BD managers. There is exciting long term growth for the role including the opportunity to bring in your own BD Specialist.

The Role
The Business Development Manager will provide strategic, commercial, and practical business development, client development, and practice support on the implementation of strategic and commercial priorities. You will be required to;
• Drive pitching and new business generation by project managing and executing large pitches, proposals, and RFPs
• Support the development of lawyer-facing BD training, acting as trusted advisor to lawyer teams to scope, prepare for both in-person meetings and pitches, and provide post pitch client and target feedback.
• Building a strong working knowledge of adjacent practice and industry group services and a clear understanding of relevant group’s strategy, priorities, and clients.
• Work with Business Services to deliver knowledge marketing, assess and advise on market conference opportunities, and coordinate submissions to league tables and awards panels, ensuring alignment with overall branding and business development strategies
• Lead strategic reviews and recommend industry conferences, partner speaking engagements, sponsorship opportunities, and related activities. Plan and implement targeted client and industry events, sponsorships, and training programs
• Collaborate with lead partners, other lawyers, and business support colleagues to oversee, execute and support complex projects, ensuring effective collaboration, communication and coordination across the London office, multiple regions and global support teams.
Candidates will be degree educated and currently operating as a Business Development Manager within a city law firm with a focus on financial services, preferably with experience of managing others.
