The role Are you ready to play a pivotal role in shaping a proactive health and safety culture? Southern Housing is seeking a committed Health and Safety Advisor to join our dedicated team. Reporting directly to a Senior Health & Safety Advisor, you will be the driving force behind continually enhancing our Health & Safety Management System and reinforcing sensible risk management across our organisation. In this role, you'll be instrumental in supporting managers and colleagues on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that our policies and procedures are consistently applied and woven into the fabric of our daily operations. This position offers flexibility, with our hybrid working model allowing you to be based at any of our following offices in Farringdon, Croydon, Sittingbourne, or Hastings. You will need a Full Driving License and access to your own vehicle for this role. What you'll need Professional qualification in Health and Safety (minimum NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent) Member of a relevant professional body (e.g. IOSH) Minimum 2 years experience post qualification working as a H & S Advisor Up to date knowledge of H & S legislation, guidance and best practice Strong communication and influencing skills, and a positive 'can do' attitude Ability to work effectively with colleagues throughout the organisation regardless of seniority or background Valid UK driving licence Closing date: 19th April at 23.59pm Interview Dates: 13th and 15th May at Fleet House, Farringdon Please note we hold the right to close the vacancy early depending on application volume.
