About the Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a highly organised and proactive People Administrator to join their supportive and fastpaced People team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a rewarding career within HR, with exposure to a broad range of activities and genuine room for progression.
In this role, you'll play an important part in supporting the endtoend employee experience. You'll help ensure seamless People processes, maintain accurate systems, and provide approachable firstline support to colleagues across the business. As your confidence and capability grow, you'll have the opportunity to work on wider HR projects, process improvements and areas that genuinely interest you.
Whether you're at the beginning of your HR journey or currently studying towards CIPD, this position offers clear development, handson learning, and excellent longterm potential.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Lifecycle & Administration
1. Manage onboarding and offboarding processes from start to finish
2. Prepare contracts, offer letters and employee documentation
3. Maintain accurate HR systems and employee records
4. Manage the People Team inbox, providing timely and supportive responses
People & Employee Relations Support
5. Offer firstline guidance on HR policies and processes
6. Support employee relations activities, including minutetaking
7. Build strong relationships across both Head Office and Retail teams
Data, Reporting & Compliance
8. Maintain accurate HR data across all platforms
9. Collate People metrics and identify trends to support decisionmaking
10. Assist with compliance requirements and documentation updates
Recruitment Support
11. Contribute to a smooth endtoend recruitment process
12. Track recruitment activity and maintain clear reporting
13. Help ensure an excellent candidate experience
Projects & Continuous Improvement
14. Support Peoplefocused projects across wellbeing, engagement, systems, and processes
15. Suggest improvements and contribute to enhancing team efficiency
