Job Description:
Alexander Steele are working with a leading multi-site food manufacturing group and we have been tasked to recruit a QA Manager for one of their key sites in Manchester. Our client has grown significantly over the last 5 years and due to this growth this role has been newly created.
Salary is up to £60k, site based working Monday to Friday only.
The Role
As a QA Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements and standards within our food manufacturing facility. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the highest levels of food safety, quality assurance, and operational compliance. As QA Manager you will also work across the site, utilizing your analytical and forensic skills in various aspects of the day-to-day operations. The core focus of the role is compliance—ensuring the site & team are following through with their commitments and addressing any discrepancies.
The Person
* Food Science Degree or equivalent/relevant qualifications are a must
* Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Food Manufacturing within the UK
* Minimum 3-5 years experience in Technical or Quality Assurance roles within UK food manufacturing
* Must be resilient, confident to challenge the status quo
* High attention to detail
