Deputy Headteacher – Pembrokeshire Learning Centre
Salary: £69,088 – £76,364 (PayScale L12–L16)
Contractual hours: 32.5 per week – Open ended – Education sector – REQAA6907

What You’ll Do
* Lead self‑evaluation and quality assurance, ensuring teaching and learning meet the highest standards.
* Champion a whole‑school behaviour strategy rooted in relational approaches and emotional wellbeing.
* Oversee data analysis and impact reporting to inform strategic decisions.
* Support and develop staff through targeted CPD programmes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with stakeholders and prepare evidence for Estyn inspections.
Qualifications
* Qualified teacher (QTS) with significant leadership experience in a PRU, ALN setting, or alternative provision.
* Proven track record of improving teaching and learning through robust monitoring and evaluation.
* Expertise in behaviour management and Trauma‑Informed Schools principles.
* Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
Desirable
* Experience contributing to successful school improvement.
* Accredited training in TiS or equivalent SEMH/EBSD approaches.
