Job Description We are hiring for our client, a well-established organisation in Derry/Londonderry, who are seeking to recruit a Temporary Finance Associate to join their team on an initial 6-month contract. The Temporary Finance Associate will play a key role in supporting the finance team with core month-end duties, reporting, and reconciliations. Top 3 Things to Know About this Job: £28,000 per annum Initially 6-month contract with potential to extend Based in Derry/Londonderry with a collaborative Finance team The Role: Assist with the production of monthly management accounts Prepare and post journals Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations Conduct variance analysis Compile KPIs and support FP&A activities Assist with payroll processing and pension scheme administration Prepare month-end accruals and support month-end checklists Ensure compliance with internal controls and procedures Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders Contribute to ad hoc finance projects as required The person: Degree qualified in Accountancy or a related discipline Currently studying or planning to study for CIMA/ACCA or Accounts Technician qualification At least 6 months’ experience in a finance role Proficient in Microsoft Excel and strong reporting skills Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities Excellent interpersonal skills and confident in liaising with various teams The Reward: £28,000 per annum Monday to Thursday 8am–5pm, Friday 8am–12pm Supportive working culture with flexibility during peak periods Excellent exposure to FP&A, payroll, and management accounting Next Steps For further information, and to apply for this Temporary Finance Associate job, please contact Hollie Wilson-O’Neill.
