Product Manufacturing Engineer – Beer/Distillation – London or Scotland
Day rate: £500 – £600 (inside IR35)
Duration: 12 months (possible extension)

My new client is looking for a Product Manufacturing Engineer to join on a long term contract. The role is positioned in the Global Engineering, Digital & Automation team which provides Capital Project delivery support to our manufacturing sites including distillation and maturation warehousing to name a few.
This role more specifically will support their Digital Supply Chain initiative driving specific workstreams for Operational technology infrastructure improvements.
Baseline project engineering requirements:
1. Development of requirement specifications in collaboration with other internal teams such as Operations.
2. Use of specialist knowledge to deliver capex projects to correct technical specification.
3. Development of cost estimates and project schedules.
4. Managing efficient spend for capex projects.
5. Co-ordinating and managing external resources.
6. Management of the project lifecycle including capital approval, maintaining accurate financial data including spend and forecast and project closure.
7. Manage and overseeing commissioning activities.
8. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental standards.
9. Exceptional Stakeholder management skills with ability to communicate effectively and proactively with cross functional teams and internal customers regarding plans, products, issues, timelines and solution value.
10. Programme management experience within large FMCG organisation(s) (preferred)
Specialist Skills
11. Manufacturing Executions Systems delivery knowledge & experience demonstrating extensive experience with IT/OT integration.
12. Packaging Machinery, Line Management & Control Systems delivery knowledge & experience
13. Server Hardware, Virtualisation & Industrial Networking Technologies project delivery knowledge & experience.
14. Manufacturing cybersecurity risk management experience.
15. Continuous Process Control systems project delivery experience.
16. Proficiency reviewing solution designs using logical and physical diagrams.
Education
17. Degree qualified in science/engineering discipline
18. Recognised Project Management competence certification
