Ocean Infinity is hiring a Maintenance Systems Engineer for the Technical Asset Management Division in Southampton, UK. Working with the Lead RAM Engineer, this role involves selecting, implementing, and managing our new CMMS for our fleet of subsea commercial payload products, including Ocean Drill, Seabed CPT, Sonic Vibrocorer, AUVs, ROVs, and related systems. What will you do: Lead the setup of planned maintenance schedules, spare parts management, and CMMS configuration for commercial payload systems; Define, implement, and deliver maintenance and RAM strategies aligned with asset criticality, RAM reports, and OEM guidance; Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure accurate data migration and effective system setup; Develop and deploy preventive maintenance plans with the RAM team and asset owners, supported by CMMS and reporting tools; Provide input into warehouse planning and budgeting through the definition of spare parts requirements; Deliver training, onboarding, and ongoing support to maintenance personnel to ensure effective use of CMMS tools and processes; Monitor equipment performance with the RAM team, applying Prognostic Health Monitoring and RAM principles to recommend improvements that enhance asset availability. Who you are: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; Minimum 5 years of experience in large scale marine asset maintenance systems, ideally including remotely operated subsea vehicles and machines; Proven experience in CMMS deployment and maintenance setup; Practiced knowledge of RAM engineering; Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, CMMS tools); Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills; You have practical and theoretical experience of RAM engineering within the maritime sectors; Proven track record of working with multidisciplinary teams in engineering, operations and service delivery; Demonstrated ability to streamline processes, foster collaboration, and drive continuous improvement; Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking; Commitment to building a positive, high-performance work environment; Strong understanding of quality management such as standards, regulations and applicable policies and procedures; Enthusiastic about protecting people and the planet. Desirable: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and bills of materials; Microsoft Excel to intermediate standard ideally: (pivot tables, vlookups advantageous); Experience using Shepherd CMMS system or similar advantageous; ISO 9001 quality environment.
