The Role We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner with strong construction industry and employee relations experience to join our growing Smart Energy business. This is a hands-on, operationally focused role, partnering closely with Site Managers, Trainers and colleagues across Realise. Operating in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment, you will play a key role in supporting managers with creating a culture and working environment where our people thrive and develop, handling complex people matters, driving consistency, and ensuring pragmatic, legally compliant HR solutions that work on site. You will also provide guidance to other teams across the Realise Group on employee relations, leading cases independently. If you have experience of working with people in gas, electrical, plumbing or renewables and enjoy being visible on site but equally comfortable working remotely, this role will suit you Whilst we can’t promise that every day will be the same, your key responsibilities are likely to be: - Act as a trusted HR partner to teams across multiple sites. - Coach and upskill managers in effective people management and ER best practice. - Lead and manage complex employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, absence, and capability issues. - Support workforce planning, mobilisation and demobilisation of projects, including TUPE where required. - Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives for site-based and professional roles. - Work closely with Health & Safety teams to promote a strong safety and compliance culture. - Contribute to and/or lead on ER activity and other continuous improvement initiatives across the Realise Group. Where will I be based? This is a home-based role, with travel required for site meetings and company events. This will be discussed with you further in your interview.
