Embeddable is a fast‑paced, ambitious company looking for senior frontend engineers to build a developer platform for seamless, lightning‑fast customer‑facing analytics. Since launching in December 2023 and receiving €6 m of seed funding in December 2024, we are expanding rapidly.
Who are you?
You’re a hungry, humble, and smart Senior Frontend Engineer with deep expertise in React, TypeScript and CSS who thrives in building sleek components and writing clean, maintainable code. You’ll join a small but growing frontend engineering team and help shape our frontend architecture.
What you’ll do
* Collaborate closely with frontend engineers to define and implement our frontend strategy.
* Take shared ownership of our library architecture, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
* Build and maintain high‑quality library components using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
* Contribute to a culture of excellence by reviewing code, mentoring peers, and sharing knowledge with the team.
* Work with designers to create seamless and delightful user experiences.
* Actively participate in team discussions, explaining your solutions clearly while remaining open to feedback and suggestions.
Hard skills
* 8+ years’ experience as a frontend engineer.
* Deep knowledge of React core principles, hooks, performance optimisation, accessibility, testing and best practices.
* Advanced TypeScript and JavaScript proficiency, including built‑in utility types, custom utility types, advanced type composition, and designing expressive public type APIs.
* Strong CSS fundamentals, modern layout techniques, scalable styling strategies, design‑system driven styling, and state‑based and interactive styling.
Soft skills
* Excellent communication and active listening skills.
* Strong ability to explain solutions clearly and respectfully.
* Passion for work, high quality standards, reliability, and continuous learning.
* Fluent spoken and written English is a must.
