Working with us as an Accounts Assistant you’ll have a fast paced, varied role within a supportive and friendly team. You will play a key role; supporting the Accounts Manager and working in collaboration with the rest of the Accounts team. What does your day look like:
* Processing weekly payments for 200+ Engineers and handling any queries
* Liaising with customers, handling invoice queries and taking payments
* Supervising all accounts payable invoices
* Reconciling invoices and identifying discrepancies
* Entering financial transactions into internal databases with a high level of accuracy
* Quality‑controlling large sets of financial data for accuracy
* Raising credit notes and processing weekly refunds
* Monthly CIS submission to HMRC
About You:
No qualifications are necessary to be considered for this role but previous experience within an accounts role and confident use of Excel is essential, along with:
* Demonstrable experience working to tight deadlines with monthly, weekly, and daily goals.
* Demonstrable problem‑solving skills.
* A reliable, team player with a keen eye for detail.
* Previous experience in an accounts role is essential to be successful.
* Accuracy within high‑volume data entry.
* A can‑do attitude, with the desire to work in and thrive in a busy environment.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Being target and goal‑orientated.
* Minimum 2 years experience.
