The Role:
As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure smooth day-to-day kitchen operations while maintaining high standards of food quality and service.
Key Responsibilities:
6. Support the Head Chef in running a high-volume kitchen
7. Lead service and take charge in the Head Chef’s absence
8. Oversee food preparation and ensure consistent quality
9. Train, mentor, and develop junior chefs
10. Maintain high standards of hygiene, health & safety, and cleanliness
11. Contribute to a positive and efficient kitchen culture
About You:
12. Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef
13. Confident leading a team in a fast-paced environment
14. Calm, organised, and reliable under pressure
15. Passionate about fresh, seasonal, locally sourced food
16. Strong team player with a positive attitude
17. Flexible with working hours and shifts
