Salary: Teacher Scale £33,594 - £50,589
About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated teachers to help shape education provision in Dumfries and Galloway. Our commitment to teachers is evident through high-quality professional learning opportunities. We aim to attract and appoint highly skilled Primary Teachers for 35 hours per week.
This is a temporary position for up to 12 months to cover maternity leave.
The role may be suitable for Secondment; Line Management approval should be obtained before applying.

Curriculum and Responsibilities
This position is part of Dumfries Learning Town schools and/or The Bridge, delivering courses as part of the Broad General Education (BGE) and senior phase curriculum, tailored to meet learners' needs.
Qualifications and Registration
Applicants must be registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS), Clerwood House, 96 Clermiston Road, Edinburgh, EH12 6UT, in the appropriate sector.
Vulnerable Children and Disclosure Checks
This post involves regulated work with vulnerable children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check before employment.
Applicants who have resided outside the UK in the last 5 years must provide a police record check from the relevant authorities.
