What you’ll be doing
1. Oversee daily implementation and improvement of the Unit’s Key Control Framework, working closely with control owners and operators.
2. Manage and communicate control changes, ensuring updates are accurately reflected in Artemis.
3. Support bi-annual self-assessments of Key Controls across the Unit
4. Assist risk owners in identifying and managing Unit Point and Emerging risks.
5. Contribute to initiatives that enhance Unit resilience and future readiness.
6. Act as the main liaison for Unit audit and assurance activities, supporting teams with queries, actions, and remediation.
7. Prepare reports for Unit leadership on risks, controls, and assurance status.
8. Represent the Unit RCA team in forums and collaborate with Group RCA to share best practices and develop solutions.
9. Mentor team members and act as a technical resource.
10. Promote awareness of emerging trends in risk and control.
The skills you'll need
Essential
11. Experience writing, implementing, operating and/or assuring internal controls in a large corporate environment.
12. Experience writing reports and presentations for senior leadership teams. Proficient in Power point and Excel.
13. Significant experience working in, or with, an audit/assurance function.
Desirable:
14. Previous experience in the telco sector
