This full-time, permanent position is ideal for a skilled Computer Science teacher ready to step into or continue in a leadership role. You will lead a vibrant department, shape the curriculum, and play a key part in driving academic excellence across GCSE and A-Level Computer Science.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Computer Science department, delivering engaging lessons at GCSE and A-Level.

Design and implement a modern, challenging curriculum that reflects current technological trends.

Mentor and support team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing department culture.

Champion the use of technology to enhance teaching and learning across the school.

Work closely with senior leadership to align departmental strategy with whole-school priorities.
Experience and Qualifications:

A degree in Computer Science or a related subject.
*
QTS or PGCE.
*
Proven experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level, including Key Stage 5.

Strong leadership and organisational skills, with a collaborative mindset.

A passion for innovation in education and preparing students for a digital future.
Salary:
The salary for this Computer Science Lead position will be paid in accordance to MPS/UPS plus TLR (leadership allowance), depending on experience.
