The company is pleased to provide such assistance, and no applicant will be penalized as a result of such a request. ​ JOB TITLE: Accounts Receivable Manager ​ ABOUT THE ROLE ​ A BRIEF SUMMARY End-to-end owner of accounts receivables and supporting workflows across Gravity Media UK. ​ WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR All employees are expected to contribute and participate in work activities in line with our management system to ensure the continual improvement of our business. Sales Invoicing · Identification of invoicing requirements as per contract terms & business needs · Pro-active chasing of internal & external stakeholders to ensure timely invoicing · Accurate processing sales orders into posted sales invoices · Communication with relevant internal stakeholders / external customers to ensure invoices are received · Continuously refine process to optimise efficiency across both AR and wider supporting colleagues New Customer Set-up · Liaise with commercial team to on-board new customers into UK wide finance system · Ensure all necessary credit checks & relevant requirements are met in a timely manner · Support commercial colleagues to secure up-front payments where necessary Factoring · Process regular factoring assignments liaising with counterparts to resolve issues in timely manner · Management of factoring account, adding / removing customers & maintaining relevant guarantees Credit Control · Produce regular debtor reports with identified actions / next steps · Initial liaison with clients to clear overdue receivables · Engage relevant internal stakeholders where necessarily and escalate appropriately where necessary Management Reporting · Work closely with wider finance team to feed weekly cashflow forecast identifying opportunities and gap closing actions · Review monthly AR account with senior finance, providing with detailed notes on anomalies with next steps identified · Lead the continued roll-out of detailed sales orders to capture revenue breakdown across UK · Engage in forecast / budgeting process to ensure accurate cash projections ​ THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE · Good all-round communication skills, both verbally and in writing to internal and external stakeholders · Attention to detail, ensuring adherence to company polices and regulatory standards · Ability to prioritise own workload under pressure - Commitment to meet deadlines · Strong numerical and analytical skills · Always act with honest and integrity, working well as part of a wider finance team · Prior experience of finance AR systems (preferably Business Central but not absolute requirement) ​ IN THIS MANAGEMENT ROLE WE’LL BE EXPECTING YOU TO · maintain a safe working environment for your teams by complying with all required Health & Safety procedures, and other management processes e.g. ISO standards; · be the first point of contact for your team for any queries, escalations, and feedback; · hold regular meetings with each member of your team to align on topics, direction, information sharing, create an opportunity for the team to be heard and sense of community; · regularly review workload across the team to ensure efficiency and balance; · provide feedback to your team to allow continued growth; · ensure new members to your team have a thorough onboarding process including regular review during probation (excludes onboarding provided by HR); · actively support the development of your team through action plans; · actively manage poor performance; · communicate and reinforce key business messages to your team, for example following Manager Meetings, Town Halls, email communications; · understand key Company policies/processes and help your team to understand; · be responsive to requests for information to colleagues and other departments; · ensure your team complete all mandatory training; · carry out an annual performance review with each member of your team; · take any necessary steps to ensure that individuals are not subjected to harassment, sexual harassment, or bullying; · manage day to day spend in line with company objectives, direction and in the interests of the company.
