We're looking for an Assistant Property Manager to join our growing team in Lancaster. This is a varied role supporting both our student accommodation portfolio (HMOs and PBSA) and our hospitality business, working closely with our experienced management team.

This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-moving team managing a diverse and expanding portfolio of developments. You'll be involved in day-to-day management, problem-solving, and delivering excellent service for both student tenants and short-stay guests.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in the day-to-day management of the property portfolio spanning hospitality (hotels, serviced apartments) and student accommodation (HMOs and PBSA), ensuring high standards of service and maintenance.
* Handle customer enquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, demonstrating excellent phone and email etiquette.
* Perform data entry tasks accurately, maintaining up-to-date records, information and property details.
* Support the letting process by conducting property viewings
* Organise and coordinate maintenance and cleaning staff and contractors
* Help prepare reports on occupancy, rental income, rates, customer satisfaction and other relevant metrics as required.
* Assist in marketing efforts across various channels, including online listings and social media.
* Conduct regular property inspections to ensure standards are maintained.
* Support check-in/check-out processes for both student tenants and hospitality guests.
* Contribute to initiatives that enhance the student and guest experience, including community-building activities, events and well-being support.
What we're looking for:
* Experience in student property management or the hospitality sector (essential).
* A proactive, organised approach with great communication skills.
* Flexibility and willingness to take on a wide range of responsibilities.
* Ability to drive with access to your own car (essential).
* Good presentation and writing skills.
* Comfort using a range of apps/software packages and an eagerness to learn.
* Experience with financial reporting (a plus).
* Property management qualifications (desirable but not essential).
