Are you an experienced professional with a passion for cloud infrastructure and innovation? Hightown is thrilled to announce a brand-new opportunity for a Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team!
About the Role: As our Platform Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and maintaining our Azure cloud infrastructure, wide and local area networks, and on-premises systems. Your primary focus will be on managing and optimizing Azure cloud services to ensure high availability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage Azure Resources: Oversee virtual machines, storage accounts, databases, and networking components.
* Develop Automation Scripts: Streamline operations and improve efficiency.
* Collaborate with Development Teams: Ensure seamless integration of applications with the infrastructure.
* Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Address cloud and network infrastructure problems in a timely manner.
* Stay Current: Keep up with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve infrastructure and services.
Experience and Qualifications:
* Degree: Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
* Proven Experience: As a Platform Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Azure cloud infrastructure.
* Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Azure services, including VMs, App Services, Azure SQL, Storage, and Networking.
* Scripting and Automation: Experience with tools such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Terraform.
