* Conduct thermal, electrical, and mechanical analysis to improve powertrain efficiency and performance.

* Work with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, and software) to integrate the AC powertrain system into larger vehicle or machinery systems.

* Provide technical expertise and solutions throughout the product development lifecycle, from concept through to production.

AC Panel Design

* Design, develop, and specify AC electrical panels, ensuring they meet electrical safety codes and performance standards.

* Select appropriate components, such as circuit breakers, transformers, and wiring, to create efficient and reliable AC panel designs.

* Produce detailed electrical schematics, control diagrams, and panel layouts.

* Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure components are sourced to specifications.

* Test, troubleshoot, and resolve any issues related to panel performance or system integration.

* Ensure compliance with relevant electrical standards and regulations, including local and international codes (e.g., IEC, NEC).

* Develop documentation for panel builds, including detailed technical drawings, instructions, and reports for manufacturing teams.

General

* Foster and maintain strong communication within MPP Global teams, including Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain, to promote best practices and drive continuous improvement.

* Support the service team with repairs on local machines when required.

* Support in house training delivery for customers/dealers and employees of MPP Global on new and existing products.

* Oversee and ensure compliance with health and safety standards within the department

* Execute special projects as needed, with the flexibility to support other areas of the business based on operational or customer requirements.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

* Proven experience (3+ years) in AC powertrain design, power electronics, and/or electric vehicle systems.

* Solid understanding of AC machine principles and powertrain design concepts.

* Proficiency in designing electrical panels, including control systems, protection, and distribution.

* Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for designing electrical schematics and system layouts.

* Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in both powertrain systems and electrical panel designs (e.g., IEC, NEC).

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.
