Location: Crossland Tankers Ltd, 114 Grove Road
We currently have a vacancy for a Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) Operative to be based in our Swatragh factory.

Candidates should have previous manufacturing experience; however, specific on-the-job training will be provided to successful applicants. A positive, self-motivated attitude towards work is essential. You must be legally entitled to work in the UK.

About The Role
The hydraulic operator role includes the following responsibilities:
* Participate in on-the-job training provided by line managers and team leaders.
* Adhere to instructions, training, and supervision to develop necessary skills while ensuring health, safety, and welfare.
* Work independently and as part of a team.
* Provide training and supervision to apprentices and trainees.
* Perform pre-delivery inspections of new tanks to ensure they meet customer specifications before delivery.
* Ensure the quality and condition of finished tanks.
* Identify faults and report findings to relevant personnel.
* Identify root causes of faults and collaborate with other departments to implement solutions.
* Communicate across the business to improve standards and reduce defects.
* Validate rework after fault rectification.
* Record inspections on company documentation.
* Test tanks and equipment for safe operation.
* Apply decals and markings on finished tanks.
* Complete work efficiently within scheduled times.
* Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas.
* Perform other duties as required by management, including health, safety, quality, and environmental responsibilities.
Skills Needed
People skills, manufacturing and production experience.
