Because that’s who we’re doing it for – the communities and businesses that make our town great. As part of the Council, you’ll support a friendly local authority making decisions with real impact. It’s all for better public services. Better processes. And a better quality of life, for everyone. Join us, and Swindon will be better with you.
Swindon Borough Council is seeking a commercially focused and ambitious New Media Marketing & Development Officer with significant experience in digital marketing management to join our successful Museums and Heritage Team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting Swindon’s heritage attractions by delivering high-quality marketing and business development to support the Council’s heritage and commercial goals.

You will seek innovative ways to keep the Swindon Museums and Hotel brands engaging, managing multiple locations while maintaining attention to detail and service quality.
You will plan, develop, and implement effective marketing campaigns that are branded, financially viable, cost-effective, and sustainable to attract and retain audiences, increasing attendance and income to meet heritage and commercial objectives.
The role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to support the museum and heritage programs.
