Are you an experienced Mental Health Practitioner or Team Leader looking to take the next step in your career?We are looking for Nurses, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists with significant experience of working in mental health services. As part of our community transformation plans, we are starting to develop our Neighbourhood Mental Health Teams (NMHT). You will be at the forefront of leading on the community transformation changes and take a lead working alongside our partner agencies.The successful candidate will lead a multidisciplinary team and support them to continue to maintain high standards of care and treatment for our service users who may have multiple and enduring mental health needs.We are looking to recruit an individual who is enthusiastic, talented, clinically experienced and able to function well independently and within a multidisciplinary team. Main duties of the job

To be responsible and provide effective leadership for a clinical team specifically to deliver on the following key areas:o Management of referrals including delivery of careo Performance monitoring and managemento Line Management and supervision of staffo To deliver a service within the agreed financial envelope ensuring maximum value in terms of clinical and cost effectivenesso Ensure that a culture of effective risk management is present in the teamo To take a lead on management of complex cases and supporting staff in management of such caseso To ensure that the team functions are in line with the care group core businesso To coordinate recruitment and selection of staff within the team, leading on decisions as designated by the service managero To respond to serious incidents as appropriate and support any subsequent investigationo To respond to Safeguarding concerns as appropriateo To respond to complaintso To respond to communications regarding team issueso To ensure equality and diversity is considered in all aspects of the team's business

QualificationsEssential criteria Educated to minimum diploma level with a relevant qualification or equivalent experience. Evidence of CPD

Knowledge and experienceEssential criteria Significant experience of and demonstrable achievement in clinical practice Experience of providing professional support/supervision and motivation of staff Understanding of Health and Social Care Governance Experience of managing staff Ability to provide and receive complex and emotive information with staff, service users, carers and other stakeholders An understanding of effective systems for integrated governance and the management of clinical and nonclinical risks. An open and facilitative style of leadership which can be adapted when necessary to ensure delivery of objectives. Demonstrate support for the values and beliefs of the Care Group and those of the Trust Resilient and self-motivated with drive and vision that is able to work on own initiative and manage a range of priorities across competing agendas.
