Overview

Our Sales & Distribution division serves UK retail, wholesale, and specialist routes to market, and we collaborate with our Co-Packing division to offer tailored packaging solutions. Our Export division distributes market-leading British FMCG brands globally, and our Manufacturing division produces Health & Beauty products in Britain. We are consumer insight and data-led in everything we do, aiming to understand our customers to deliver unmatched service and solutions.

We are currently seeking a passionate and dependable Senior National Account Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. This role offers flexibility, with regular meetings and office visits required.


Responsibilities

* Drive supplier objectives in line with Joint Business Plans JBPs
* Cultivate a deep understanding of customers, including KPIs, retail portfolios, shopper profiles, and more
* Own and execute customer strategy, including collaborative volume and value forecasting
* Implement and track customer budgeted investment, managing invoices and claims effectively
* Influence range and distribution, track EPOS data, and analyse competitor intelligence
* Ensure compliance with Good Distribution Practice of medicinal products for relevant activities


Key Tasks

* Exceed DCS sales and margin targets
* Build successful customer relationships to grow market share
* Develop and deliver volume and value forecasts for Spar and Rapid Delivery
* Improve DCS' financial performance through effective management of supplier investment and terms agreements
* Support in developing the Rapid Delivery sector and identifying short-term opportunities
* Coach and develop one National Account Manager into a high performer

* Results-focused with developing leadership skills
* Initiative-driven with excellent commercial awareness
* Advanced negotiation and stakeholder management abilities
* Proficiency in category management, forecasting, and Microsoft Office tools
