We are recruiting for Residential Support Workers to support young people within a therapeutic residential setting. This service supports children and young people with complex emotional needs and challenging behaviours, offering a stable, trauma-informed environment.
You can apply for set day shifts or set night shifts – no rotating required.
The Homes
*
Supporting children aged 10–17
*
Therapeutic approach with a strong focus on safety, consistency and emotional wellbeing
Hours
* Set days 11am - 11pm + sleep, 7am - 11am next day or set nights 9:30pm – 7:30am
*
Typically 3–4 shifts per week
Responsibilities
*
Supporting young people with daily routines, emotional regulation and engagement
*
Carrying out welfare checks, particularly for young people at high risk
*
Implementing therapeutic strategies and behaviour support plans
*
Working with young people who present with challenging behaviours
*
Building consistent, therapeutic relationships
Requirements
*
Previous experience working in residential care and with challenging behaviours
*
Full UK driving licence preffered
*
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one – we can process this for you)
*
Full Right to Work in the UK with no restrictions
*
Ability to work independently and confidently
*
Level 3 Health & Social Care is beneficial but not essential
