Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys, preparing accurate maps, and ensuring compliance with regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of surveying techniques and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders in construction and land development projects.
Responsibilities
* Conduct precise land surveys using advanced surveying equipment and techniques.
* Prepare detailed maps and reports based on survey data.
* Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure project specifications are met.
* Utilise AutoCAD and ArcGIS software for drafting and data management purposes.
* Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards throughout the surveying process.
* Maintain accurate records of survey results, including measurements and calculations.
* Assist in the analysis of land use and environmental impact assessments as required.
Skills
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and CAD software for creating detailed drawings and plans.
* Strong knowledge of land surveying principles, methods, and practices.
* Experience with ArcGIS for spatial analysis and mapping tasks.
* Excellent data management skills to organise and interpret survey information effectively.
* Familiarity with construction processes and terminology is advantageous.
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all work produced.
