Mechanical Service Engineer Lancashire Are you an experienced Mechanical Service Engineer looking to work with a leading provider of CNC machine tools and advanced manufacturing solutions? We are seeking a skilled engineer to join our dynamic team, providing service and support across a range of high-precision CNC machinery. Key Responsibilities: Service, maintenance, and repair of CNC machine tools, primarily lathes and machining centres. Mechanical fault-finding and diagnostics. Performing ballscrew and linear guide replacements, spindle exchanges, gib adjustments/scraping, geometrical alignments, and machine installations. Occasional involvement with EDM machines would be advantageous. Working both independently and as part of a team to support clients across the UK and Europe when required. Essential Skills & Experience: Mechanical engineering qualifications or equivalent experience. Solid hands-on experience with CNC machine tools. Familiarity with Fanuc and Okuma controls is beneficial. Previous exposure to EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) machines is highly desirable but not essential.
