Salary range: £60,000 to £80,000 per annum.
Location: Glasgow, Bristol, Burton on Trent, Gloucester, Leatherhead, Manchester, Plymouth (flexible hybrid working with time split between office and home).
The Frazer‑Nash Asset Integrity Teams provide knowledge and understanding on the integrity and design of mechanical structures using innovative analysis and assessment approaches. We support our clients by delivering expert guidance on the safe and efficient operation of their assets across defence, aerospace, energy (nuclear and renewables) and transport, focusing on high‑value, high‑performance, and/or safety‑critical assets. Projects range from substantiating new designs to supporting life extension of critical plant.
There is significant demand for experience across the life cycle of nuclear programmes, including small modular reactors, new builds, power generation, life extension, defuelling, and decommissioning. In particular, expertise in the analysis and assessment of pressure vessels is sought.
Applicants should demonstrate experience in working with pressure vessels, providing evidence of FEA, fatigue, fracture, fitness‑for‑service, and design by analysis against relevant industry codes and standards (ASME, BS, API). They should have experience undertaking analysis and assessments of pressure vessels against industry codes.
Experienced engineers should have a proven history of leading project delivery, forming effective teams to meet customer requirements, and mentoring junior team members.
Frazer‑Nash values honesty, positivity, trust and community. The successful candidate should articulate how they will contribute to this culture.
The successful candidate will enjoy flexible hybrid working conditions with time split between office and home.
