Fabric Engineer / Handyperson
Location: Long Sutton & Wisbech (PE13)
Salary: £30,000–£35,000 per year + overtime

We are recruiting for a Fabric Engineer / Handyperson to join a well-established facilities maintenance team, working across two key static sites in Long Sutton and Wisbech. Key responsibilities:
10. Carrying out planned and reactive building fabric maintenance (doors, locks, tiling, painting, joinery, patch plastering, minor plumbing, etc.)
11. Completing general handyperson duties across both sites
12. Diagnosing faults and carrying out remedial repairs to a high standard
13. Ensuring all works are compliant with health & safety regulations
14. Assisting the wider maintenance team when required
What we’re looking for:
15. Previous experience as a Fabric Engineer / Handyperson / Building Maintenance Operative
16. Good all-round knowledge of general building services (joinery, plumbing, painting, decorating, basic electrical knowledge an advantage)
17. Ability to carry out fault finding and repairs independently
18. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
19. Recognised trade qualification (preferred but not essential)
