Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Administrator to join our Operations team, supporting the delivery of vital accommodation services within a designated area.
About the Role
Reporting to the Area Manager and based within the Area Office, you will provide essential administrative support to operational teams responsible for delivering accommodation services. Your skills in staying organised, communicating effectively, and managing multiple priorities will help ensure contractual commitments are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
* Arrange appointments and schedule planned preventive maintenance orders.
* Mitigate issues arising with access to military family properties and raise remedials.
* Support training administration and maintain accurate records.
* Ensure electronic and paper‑based filing systems are up to date and compliant with company policies.
* Support Quality Assurance, Health & Safety, Security, Fraud Prevention, and Sustainability initiatives, including maintaining compliance documentation and audit requirements.
* Assist operational teams with ordering activities through company systems and identify opportunities for efficiency and continuous improvement.
* Build positive working relationships with colleagues, Defence Infrastructure Organisation representatives, local customer representatives, supply chain partners, and direct operatives, responding professionally to requests for information and customer enquiries.
Qualifications
* Experience in an administrative position with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
* Experience with Maximo or CAFM systems and accredited Microsoft Office training is advantageous.
* Initiative, pride in delivering high‑quality work, and the ability to remain focused in a changing environment.
* Strong communication skills and a commitment to supporting a positive and safe workplace culture.
