Base Location: UK Wide, with occasional visits to Watford

KPMG seeks to recruit an assistant manager in their in-house Tax team to deliver:
* UK tax compliance and corporate and partnership tax filings
* Advising on UK tax compliance matters
The candidate should demonstrate UK tax compliance experience, ability to work to tight deadlines, handle large data volumes, oversee team members' work, and maintain confidentiality. The role involves working closely with other tax professionals to deliver efficient tax compliance services.
Responsibilities include:
* Preparation of tax computations using Alphatax
* Reviewing income and expenses GL codes for tax sensitivity
* Reviewing tax accounting entries and tax notes in financial statements
* Preparing and reviewing deferred tax calculations
* Ensuring deadlines are met and reviewing analyses
* Reflecting legislative changes in tax computations
* Researching technical issues and discussing with specialists
* Preparing technical notes
* Working on Country by Country reporting, CFC assessments, and tax reform analysis
* Assisting with overseas tax returns
* Managing tax payments and interest
* Improving internal processes and controls
* Assisting with HMRC enquiries
Qualifications and skills required:
* Qualified ATT, CTA, or ACA
* Minimum 2 years' practical experience with UK partnership or corporate entities
* Relationship management skills
* Analytical and investigative skills
* Strong Excel skills
* Excellent communication skills
