Infrastructure Engineer - Up to £60,000 - Derby (On-site)
We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our IT team full time in Derby.
You'll help manage and improve our core systems across Servers, networks, and security, and will support both day-to-day operations and project delivery.
This role is ideal for someone with solid infrastructure experience and knowledge of/exposure to Nutanix, Meraki and Fortinet (or similar technologies).
Key responsibilities
* Maintain and support Servers, networking, storage and cloud systems
* Monitor infrastructure performance and troubleshoot issues
* Support projects including upgrades and migrations
* Work with Firewalls, VPNs, backups and endpoint security
* Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams
* Participate in on-call and out-of-hours work as needed
What you'll need
* Experience in an infrastructure or systems role
* Knowledge of/exposure to Nutanix, Meraki and Fortinet
* Good understanding of Microsoft 365, Windows Server and virtualisation
* Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, switching, Firewalls)
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills
