Job Description
* Manage financial records and reports
* Coordinate budgeting and planning processes
* Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards
* Provide financial advice to inform strategic decision-making
* Collaborate with external auditors
* Support junior staff in their professional development
* Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Accountant should have:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field
* Professional accountancy certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA)
* Advanced understanding of financial regulations and standards
* Experience in budgeting, financial planning and analysis
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Demonstrated commitment to the not-for-profit sector
