Health, Safety and Facilities Co-ordinator
Who are we?
As a charity operating for over 50 years, our health, safety, and facilities services have expanded significantly to ensure the safe operation of all our services, including Portfield School, Futures 18-25, Adult Services, and our charity hub.
Our team plays a vital role in safeguarding these services, enabling the people we support to thrive. We are recruiting a full-time Health, Safety and Facilities Coordinator to join us.
A day in the life of a Health, Safety and Facilities Coordinator includes:
* Coordinating helpdesk work orders and managing timelines for work initiation
* Generating progress reports and cost analyses for maintenance work
* Scheduling maintenance for in-house engineers and contractors
* Ensuring workplace safety across our charity, including safe exits and conditions
* Acting as COSHH Assessor
* Managing contractual KPIs and service level agreements with suppliers
* Supporting RIDDOR reporting processes
* Monitoring accident and incident data
* Re-stocking emergency equipment such as first aid kits, extinguishers, and PPE
Our ideal candidate will have:
* Experience with facilities management software, such as CAFM
* ISOH or equivalent health and safety certification
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data entry
