Senior Quality Engineer Location: Cornwall Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 Working Pattern: Monday to Friday The Role: A leading manufacturing business is currently seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join the organisation during a period of sustained growth and success. Following several highly successful years, the company is now looking to further strengthen its quality function by appointing a Senior Quality Engineer to work closely and strategically with the Quality Manager. This role offers the opportunity to influence quality strategy, drive continuous improvement, and support operational excellence across the business. The successful Senior Quality Engineer will play a key role in embedding best practice, improving processes, and ensuring quality standards continue to support the companys ongoing growth. Key Responsibilities: The Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for: Working closely with the Quality Manager to support and deliver the site quality strategy Leading and implementing continuous improvement initiatives across quality and manufacturing processes Driving root cause analysis and corrective actions using structured CI methodologies Supporting internal and external audits and ensuring ongoing compliance with quality standards Analysing quality performance data and identifying opportunities for improvement Developing and improving quality processes, systems, and documentation Supporting cross-functional teams to improve product quality and reduce defects Acting as a technical quality escalation point across the business About the Candidate: The ideal Senior Quality Engineer will demonstrate: Proven experience working as a Senior Quality Engineer or Quality Engineer within a manufacturing environment A clear passion for continuous improvement with a proven track record of delivering CI initiatives Strong knowledge of quality systems, standards, and best practice Experience using CI tools such as root cause analysis, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills Ability to work collaboratively at both operational and strategic levels Recognised engineering or quality-related qualifications Interested in applying?
