Overview
Tempest Education are working with a Primary School in Warrington. The school is OFSTED graded 'GOOD'. The School are looking to appoint the Teaching Assistant as soon as possible to work on a 1:1 basis within KS1 (Year 2).
Responsibilities
* Assisting in the implementation of personalised learning plans for SEN students
* Offering 1:1 and small group support for children with ASD.
* Helping create a nurturing, positive, and inclusive learning environment
* Supporting classroom activities and adapting resources to meet students' needs
* Encouraging social, emotional, and academic development
* Collaborating with teachers, SEN coordinators, and other professionals to deliver targeted interventions
Qualifications
* Experience working with children, especially those with SEN, is highly desirable
* Patience, compassion, and a positive approach to supporting children's learning
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for working in education and helping children succeed
* An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
* Minimum 6 months experience within a School environment
