The hourly rate for this role is £12.69 and up to £14.05 across selected locations within London.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Providing health advice through focused conversations with patients, ensuring they leave informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
Key Duties
1. Tailoring conversations to ensure customers leave feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
2. Handling technical dispensary tasks such as ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collecting prescriptions, while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
3. Complying with legal and professional requirements and guidelines.
4. Engaging with GPs and practice teams to promote services and products.
5. Ensuring efficient dispensary operations and minimizing dispensing losses.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should have an NVQ Level 2 equivalent in Pharmacy Services and experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser. Completion of Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) or equivalent is required, with support available for training if not already completed. Opportunities for further professional development include NVQ Level 3 (QCF) in Pharmacy Services, leading to eligibility to register with the GPHC as a Pharmacy Technician and potentially advancing to an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) role.
