Lecturer in Biology with Forensic Science
Location: Huddersfield
Salary: £32,938 - £41,746
Hours and Weeks per Year: 37 hours / 52 weeks
Teaching Base: Waterfront, Huddersfield
Overview: You will be responsible for delivering, planning, assessing and preparing students for Biology Science subjects across level 1, level 2 and level 3 Applied Science, including Access to HE Biology at level 2 and 3.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver and plan Biology Science courses across level 1, level 2 and level 3 Applied Science.
* Assess, monitor and prepare students for progression.
* Monitor learning progress and attendance.
* Engage with young people and promote equality and diversity.
Qualifications & Experience
* Teaching qualification and demonstrable experience in Biology Science topics.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with young people.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
* Understanding of equality and diversity, and ability to demonstrate our College values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence.
