The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the delivery of high-level pharmaceutical services and demonstrate leadership within the department. Key Responsibilities As a Band 8b Pharmacist specialising in Medicines Safety and Medicines Information, you will lead on medicines safety initiatives and ensure compliance with both national and local guidelines. You will provide specialist advice on medicines information to healthcare professionals, support the development and implementation of medicines policies and procedures, and monitor and report medication incidents while contributing to risk reduction strategies. In this role, you will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to promote safe prescribing and administration practices, playing a key part in enhancing patient safety and the overall quality of pharmaceutical care. Qualifications and Experience GPhC registration as a Pharmacist. Significant experience in a senior pharmacy role, ideally within the NHS. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
