This role is overall responsible for the Early Careers recruitment programme across UK and Ireland, partnering closely with business stakeholders to ensure that the early careers programme is a success.
The Global Early Careers Lead will be responsible for the school leaver, student, and graduate talent pipelines.
Core Responsibilities:
* Early Careers Strategy & Execution: Partner with the Head of Early Careers to design and execute Early Careers Recruitment strategy across EMEA, Asia and America to align with the business objectives
* Talent Pipeline Development: Ownership of the development of the school leaver, student, and graduate talent pipelines across financial services and professional services business units, ensuring a strong pipeline of junior talent across the firm to address current and future skills shortages.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with senior leaders, hiring managers, cross-functional teams and other key stakeholders to ensure recruitment strategies are aligned with organisational priorities and talent needs.
* Market Intelligence - Provide direction and market intelligence to key stakeholders on local regional market needs and requirements to ensure the attraction of candidates whilst bringing brand awareness. This includes local market trends, salary benchmarking, internal and external talent supply and demand, best practice assessment approaches to support decision making.
* Employer Branding & Outreach: Embed the Employer Value Proposition (EVP) to position the organization as an employer of choice among early talent. Lead the planning and execution of outreach events, recruitment campaigns, and online assessments. Build brand awareness by engaging with schools, colleges, and universities, identifying relevant events, and coordinating regional business participation. Actively collaborate with student-focused organizations to promote career opportunities and strengthen early talent pipelines. Manage relationships with third-party attraction and recruitment partners, ensuring alignment with branding goals and maximizing return on investment.
* Team Leader - Lead and collaborate with a team of early careers recruiters and coordinators, creating a high-performance culture and ensuring operational excellence.
* Recruitment Selection – Collaborate with the relevant stakeholders to design and refine a fair, consistent and effective recruitment and selection process to ensure we hire strong diverse talent to meet the organisational needs
* Candidate Experience & Engagement - Plan and execute strategies to continuously improve candidate experience and engagement throughout the early careers recruitment cycle
* Budget & Vendor Management: Manage the budget talent attraction budget and monitor the effectiveness and return on investment in early career talent marketing, report and monitor progress
* Ensure diverse candidate pipelines are actively managed to meet the skills needed by the business
* Data driven recruitment - Analyse recruitment data and campaign performance to identify trends, measure ROI, and make strategic adjustments to improve outcomes.
* Post offer engagement & onboarding support - Maintain strong post-offer engagement through structured "keep warm" strategies to ensure the candidate remains committed. Keep candidates, hiring managers, and key stakeholders updated throughout the post-offer and pre-boarding stages. Support onboarding processes as needed to ensure a smooth and positive transition from offer acceptance to start date
* Continuous Improvement & Change Management - Support implementation of continuous improvement plan and support with implementation of strategic change management, account efficiency programs and legislative change projects
* Industry Engagement - Stay connected to the latest tools, technologies, and trends in early careers recruitment through continuous learning, webinars, and industry events.
Local Requirements
* Passion for Early Careers – A passion for identifying, developing, and deploying, junior talent pools and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
* Experience – Minimum of 8 years in Early Careers Recruitment, including at least 5 years of management experience and strategic. Prior experience working specifically as a campus recruiter for corporate and Investment Banking or Global Markets across Americas and Asia is essential.
* Strong leadership & stakeholder management experience – Experience of working with senior leaders and across teams to align recruitment strategy with the business objective. Proven ability to influence and lead across all levels with the ability to make sound judgement and recommendation to consistently improve the service offered and candidate experience.
* Market Insights: in-depth understanding of global talent trends, competitive analysis, and employer branding strategies
* Strategic and Creative Thinking - Ability to think strategically and creatively to adapt to evolving recruitment landscapes and deliver innovative solutions to meet the needs of the business.
* Project Management: Ability to lead and execute complex projects, including global recruitment campaigns
* Ability to work well with ambiguity
* The role is utilising data to access specific talent pools and thus has analytical elements and requires good project management and time management skills.
* Client-Focused - Confident communicator with a client-centric approach, capable of engaging effectively with candidates, hiring managers, senior leaders and other stakeholders.
