Residence Manager (Summer 2026)

Are you looking to develop your leadership and management skills within international business? Does the prospect of running a residence full of language students from around the world excite you? If so, EF invites you to join us as Residence Manager, leading a multicultural team and creating a home‑from‑home environment for our international students.
Responsibilities
* Work with the summer management team to deliver an exceptional experience to our students, holding overall responsibility for the residence and its occupants.
* Manage room assignments, coordinate arrivals and departures, and ensure a seamless experience for students.
* Liaise with residence owners and staff on cleaning, maintenance, theme events, and safety.
Requirements
* Flexible approach to working hours is essential.
* Experience of managing or leading a team is desirable.
* Highly motivated, energetic, and positive.
* Customer‑service oriented with a friendly and approachable manner.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and diffuse potential difficult situations.
* Sensitive to the needs of international students living away from home.
* Excellent communicator with students, colleagues, and external clients.
* Attention to detail, organized, and thorough.
* All offers are subject to an enhanced DBS check and two references.
* Right to work in the UK at commencement of employment.
