JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for driving growth across Acer’s SMB reseller community by developing strategic relationships with distribution partners. Focus will be on partner recruitment and enablement of distribution sales teams to ensure Acer remains top-of-mind and competitive in the channel.
WORKPLACE TYPE
Hybrid - three days a week in the office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Own and execute the SMB distribution strategy, delivering against key KPIs aligned with Acer’s growth objectives.
* Build strong, strategic relationships with distribution sales teams to drive engagement with SMB reseller partners.
* Reactivate lapsed accounts and identify high-potential net-new partners in collaboration with Acer specialists.
* Maintain a visible and influential presence on distribution sales floors to support deal closure and partner enablement.
* Design and implement impactful sales programs, promotions, and incentives to ensure Acer remains top-of-mind and competitive.
* Drive bid conversion by supporting distribution sales personnel across the full Acer portfolio.
* Report weekly progress on key opportunities and maintain accurate CRM data in Salesforce.
* Lead partner recruitment, onboarding, and growth initiatives across the SMB channel. Identify product category growth opportunities to expand breadth and depth of traded accounts.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* Strong industry knowledge and a passion for technology
* Track record of working in a sales environment either in sales or in sales operations
* Proven track record in generating and closing sales opportunities
* Skilled in navigating complex customer environments and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
* Consultative approach to client relationships, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills, with a focus on planning and execution.
* Clear, confident communicator with strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
* Commercially astute with solid business acumen.
* Well-versed in IT and ICT technologies, trends, and market dynamics.
* Experienced in new business acquisition and strategic business development.
* Strong abilities around conceptualisation, analysis and excellent communication/presentation skills (written and oral).
* Proactive and resilient approach
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Educated to Degree level or relevant work experience preferred.
