Applications are invited for the position of Senior Clinical Fellow in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
The appointee will be expected to participate fully in the department with opportunity to attend specialist clinics and gain additional skills. These opportunities include:
1. Advanced Antenatal Practice including growth scans and obstetric scanning
2. Fetal Medicine
3. Colposcopy
4. Vulval Disease
5. Urogynaecology
6. Fertility
7. Specialist endometriosis/Laparoscopy
8. Menopause
9. Hysteroscopy
10. Early Pregnancy Care and Gynaecological Ultrasound
11. Medical Education
12. Clinical Governance and Quality Improvement
The applicant will also be expected to cover the on-call rota at a junior Registrar level working within a team to provide safe clinical care.
The appointment is a full-time post for 12 Months FTC.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Whittington Health which is an Integrated Care Organisation (ICO). We aim to offer high quality care to our patients and service users in this speciality.
The opportunities for teaching and training will be the same as for the other Specialist Registrars within the Department. Applicants should have MBBS, MCROG Part 2 and be registered with the GMC.

The appointee will undertake general duties in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. These will vary according to the individual timetable and seniority of the doctor concerned. In general however, the post holder will be involved in the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care of obstetric patients and outpatient and inpatient diagnosis and treatment of gynaecology patients.
