Starting your journey:
As a Painter, you will assist in delivering brand standards and maintaining guest facilities. You should take pride in your work and work closely with team members to uphold exceptional standards. Good health & safety awareness is essential, especially when working with hazardous substances, at heights, and following risk assessments. You must be able to handle face-to-face and telephone customer enquiries effectively.
You will look for opportunities to create memorable moments for our guests, providing a personal experience they will want to share.
Joining the housekeeping team, your responsibilities will include:
* Performing effective painting, including repairs and preventative work throughout the hotel
* Ensuring all paint supplies match specified colours and are used correctly
* Carrying out daily painting requests via the Hotel Service Pro system
* Coordinating with the Executive Housekeeper on daily work completion
* Working flexibly to meet business needs
* Ensuring all painting complies with health and safety legislation
* Supporting maintenance and housekeeping with tasks from monthly walk rounds
* Assisting the Maintenance Manager as needed
As a Painter, attention to detail is crucial to maintain consistent standards. This role is vital to the hotel's operation and guest satisfaction. Your structured 12-week learning journey will equip you with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to excel as a Painter. We are looking for candidates who:
* Are self-aware and capable of evaluating their work
* Can multi-task and pay close attention to detail
* Have prior experience as a painter and decorator
* Know different types of paints and finishes
* Understand basic decorating and filling techniques
