Job Description We are excited to offer you the opportunity to join our Maintenance department as a Maintenance Technician! The Maintenance Department oversee resolution of breakdowns and installation of equipment whilst also carrying out preventative maintenance to plant and service utilities across the Clay Cross site. The team provides technical support to all departments, ensuring the highest levels of plant availability are maintained across all shifts and compliance with all applicable legislation. In this role, you will be responsible for: Effectively diagnosing and rectifying mechanical plant and utility service breakdowns. Carrying out planned preventative maintenance actions. Ensuring availability of equipment to set objectives. Ensuring plant, equipment and utility services are maintained in a safe and efficient working order and compliance with all appropriate legislation. Identifying and implementing breakdown reduction opportunities. Liaising with external suppliers and services as required. Being committed to the application and implementation of housekeeping and Health, Safety & Environmental requirements across the site. Maintaining and updating procedural documentation for the effective maintenance of all plant and services across the site. Contributing to an effective maintenance team, undergoing personal development training and assisting and training others in all relevant fields.
